Katō Shō (1927–2001) — Unused Polychrome Glazed Matcha Bowl, Vintage Seto Ware
The bowl shows a soft white glaze on pale beige tones, while the lower body is covered with Oribe green glaze, creating colors that appear almost like a landscape painting when viewed from the side. This kind of glaze composition, especially the technique of applying glaze only to the lower section, is not commonly seen in traditional Seto ware.
