RARE The LION KING maquette PHOTO Kent Melton 1994 Artist Figurine Walt Disney
This is a photograph in a cardboard matt. it is the Maquettes of The Lion King that Kent Melton sculpted in 1994. You see Sarabi, Simba, Zazu, Scar, Nala, Mufasa, Rafiki, Shenzi, Pumbaa and Timon. the photo is 9″ x 6″ and the matt is 14″ x 11″. there is a clear plastic cover for it. I got them from Paul Fell’s estate. He is a famous artist around here, illustrations in our biggest Newspaper the Journal Star, and his books, etc. i think he went to Los Angeles and met Kent Melton and got these from him. in all my research i could not find any of these pictures out there. just a few in Kent’s office. There is a good chance you know more about this than me, and i welcome any messages and information. i have seven different ones of these. i plan to put them all on ebay tonight. dec. 2025.

This one is Aladdin by Disney, 1992. This was his first movie maquettes for Disney. and there is a plastic sleeve. Paul is an artist, illustrator here in Lincoln, Ne. And i think they’re rare. i have seen this behind Kent in a picture.

Here is a photo of the Maquette figurines that Kent Melton made for Pixar’s The Incredibles movie. the picture is 9″ x 6″ and the matt is 14″ x 11″. The characters here are: Gilbert Huph, Dash, Winston Deavor, Syndrome, Mr. Incredible, Elasigirl, Jack-Jack, Frozone, Edna and Violet. there is a plastic cover over the matt. it slides out. i got seven different ones at an estate sale of Paul Fell. he is a local artist who worked for our newspaper for many years; and he has books and things. i think he went to Los Angeles and got these from Kent. i will wrap them well.

You see Captain John Smith, Thomas, Percy, Meeko, Wiggins, Governor Ratcliff, Pocahontas, Chief Powhatan, Flit, Nakoma and Kocoum. I got these photos from Paul Fell’s estate. He is a famous artist around here, illustrating for our Newspaper for many years and publishing books. Cartoons. Political stuff. i think he went to Los Angeles and met Kent Melton and got these from him. i could not find anybody who had similar or was selling similar. But the first ones kent did were Aladdin and that photo is seen on the wall behind him in a few photos. tell me if i’m wrong. ( i might be.) ok, off to the next ones.)
